Reliable Model D Dry Valve

Reliable Model D Dry Pipe Valves are designed to allow the installation of fire sprinkler systems in buildings in which freezing ambient temperatures commonly occur.

The system has air under pressure instead of water in the sprinkler supply piping above the Dry Valve. When one or more sprinklers are activated under fire the air pressure falls opening the Dry Valve and allowing water under pressure to enter the system and discharge through the open sprinkler(s).

Basic trim. priming chamber attachment and fill line attachment are available separately or can be supplied preassembled. See Fully Assembled Dry Pipe Valve.
